Private photography lessons are a perfect way to learn want you want to know quickly.

If you are a complete beginner lessons can start before you buy your camera. I can advise you which type and model would best suit your needs. We can start with the absolute basics so that you can start your photography in the best possible way.

If you are planning a trip I can advise you on what equipment you should take with you and what you can safely leave behind. What lenses will capture the range of subjects that interests you, what type and how much storage.

Lessons can be as practical as you wish, I will advise you as you take the pictures of the subjects you want to photograph. We can discuss the theory and it's practical applications, even the thought processes behind a good image. The mix can be adjusted to suit your needs.

Perhaps you are satisfied with your picture taking but are unsure how to work with the digital images that you have shot. If you want to get the most out of them on your computer I can show you how to optimise them in Photoshop (I am an Adobe Certified Expert). How to convert RAW files, resize images to email them, colour correction and retouching.

If you would like your photographs critiqued I can be as gentle or as "gloves off" as you would like. It will always be constructive criticism offering suggestions on improving your photography. It is extremely difficult to edit your own images I can advise you on building your portfolio.

1 on 1 lessons can really reduce your learning time and get you on the fast track to great photography!

One on One sessions are available Monday to Friday.

Morning Session: 9.30-11.30

Afternoon Session: 2-4pm

1 on 1      $50/hour

Learn in a Small Group and Save.

2 People  $80/hour ($40 pp)

3 People  $105/Hour ($35 pp)

4 People  $120/Hour ($30 pp)

Minimum session 2 hours.

On Weekends there is a minimum class size of 3 participants.
